Music Boosters

Congrats on your family’s decision to join the music program at Milpitas High School!

How can you, as a parent, help to make your child’s time even more memorable? You can get involved with the Milpitas Music Boosters, a group of parent and alumni volunteers that work to make sure the music program at MHS is successful.

 

Who are the Music Boosters?

The Milpitas Music Booster Club is anon-profit 501(c)3 organization of parents and community volunteers who support, assist, encourage, advocate, and promote education at Milpitas High School and within our school district.

Our objective is to provide volunteers for music department events, and to provide supplemental funding for trips, equipment, uniforms, and any other needs of our bands, orchestras, and choir.

 

Volunteer

  • Attend monthly booster meetings at MHS – please check the calendar on the home page.
  • Chaperones, cooking and tailgate crew, pit and field crew, driving vehicles, towing trailers, planning, building props.
  • Assist with fundraisers.
  • “Music in the Parks Festival” concession stand and room monitors at MHS in the Spring.

Why should I get involved?

Parents volunteer to support their children’s msuic education and to build relationships with many other parents in the organization and school.

The more help you provide the more time the teachers and staff will have to devote to the students.

In addition, the music department is positioned to help build community through local performance opportunities like concerts, football games, and parades.
