Donate Instruments

Do you have an instrument just collecting dust in your home, garage or closet? You can help save your local Milpitas school music programs by donating that instrument while also getting a tax-deductible receipt for your donation!

Your donated instruments will be used to enhance our 4th – 12th grade band and orchestra classes.

What to donate:

We are currently accepting: Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Oboes, Bassoons, Trumpets, Trombones, Baritones, French Horns, Tubas, String Instruments, Violins, Cellos, Basses, and Percussion Equipment.

We generally cannot accept pianos, organs, or accordions. However, we might be interested in a high quality piano donation, as all of our pianos are 30+ years old. Please contact us if you think your piano might be of value to our music program.

How to donate:

  1. Drop the instrument off in the Milpitas High School Office with Peggy
Sumida, between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The address is 1285 Escuela Pkwy., Milpitas, CA 95035.
  2. Schedule a pick up by sending an email to ckaldy@musd.org or calling
    408-635-2800 x4189.

Instrument Donation Details:

Please include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address with each donation so we can send you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

We would appreciate it if you could include a brief history of the instrument and why you decided to donate it to us.
